520			_aThis study was undertaken to determine the attitudes towards reading among Grade 4 pupils of South City Central School, Division of Cagayan de Oro City. Specifically, this sought to: (1) identify the profile of the respondents in terms of attitude towards reading; (2) determine the respondents' reading level when grouped according to independent, instructional, and frustration; and (3) find the significant relationship between the respondents' reading level and attitude towards reading. This study employed a descriptive survey research method which included a quantitative approach in collecting data through questionnaire. A modified and patterned questionnaire was used in this study. In organizing the data in problem 1, mean and standard deviation was used. Further, in problem 2, the prequency and percentage distribution was used, and in problem 3, data were computed through in finding significant relationship among the two variables.
